Hart to leave his mark Bush
Artist Pro Hart, pictured, has revealed he is close to finalising development of
a unique DNA marking, designed to stop the large-scale forgery of his works. Hart, on the Gold Coast for an exhibition of his vast private collection, is still coming to terms with the knowledge his paintings may have been stolen and forged over a 20-year period. He
and son John have developed a plan to brand his works with DNA, to stop the
forgers. Hart
said yesterday that all his paintings were now micro-chipped and the DNA plan
was close to fruition. The
exhibition starts tomorrow at the Gold Coast International Hotel. For More Information Contact: |
